Abstract:

Heat transfer in coal pressurized gasifier convection cooling section with the membrane spiral tubes under high pressure is experimentally investigated. High pressure single gas (He or N2) and mixture gas(He+N2) serve as the test media, and the test pressure for each gas varies from 0.5 MPa to 3.5 MPa. The results show that the gas composition, flow forms, especially the working pressure affect the high pressure gas convective heat transfer coefficient. The average convective heat transfer coefficients for different kinds of high pressure gas in annular channel heat exchanger, and the correlations of the typical flow forms and its applicable condition are systematically obtained.
