Abstract:
To theoretically investigate spacing ring accuracy and manufacturing error control, the impact of outer spacing ring nonparallelism on the tilt of single row bearing is discussed. The oblique angle of outer spacing ring end face is taken to describe its nonparallelism, the influence on bearing installation position is then analyzed. Following the pseudo statics analysis for bearing, the computing method is proposed to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of high-speed angular contact ball bearing, where the accuracy of outer spacing ring and bearing heating are considered. Taking 7014C bearing as an example, the calculated maximum contact stress increases by 2.15% as axial force is 400 N and oblique angle of outer spacing ring 0.0182, and increases with the augmented oblique angle. Outer spacing ring nonparallelism results in uneven heating at each ball contact area, especially under radical loads. Most of machine tool spindles work under radial loads, the adverse effects of outer spacing ring parallelism cannot be ignored.
