Abstract:

New solubility data of R1234ze(E) in 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethansulfonate ([HMIM][TfO]) were determined at the temperature from 293 K to 343 K and the pressure from 0.078 MPa to 0.631 MPa, and the experimental data were correlated with non-random two-liquid (NRTL) equation. The performance of R1234ze(E)/[HMIM][TfO] was simulated as a working pair in a single stage absorption refrigeration system. The simulation results are as follows: 1) without the recovery heat exchanger, high generator temperature, low circulation ratio and absorber temperature contribute to high efficiency; 2) when the heat exchanger is of ideal efficiency, circulation ratio has no significant influence on the efficiency, but high temperature of absorber and evaporation temperature contribute to efficiency. © 2018, Science Press.
