Abstract:
In the present paper, the influence of hole site on heat transfer characteristics is numerically studied by changing one film cooling hole location. The results indicate that the area averaged film cooling effectiveness on rim surface is lower than that on groove floor, while the area averaged film cooling heat transfer coefficients on rim surface is higher than that on groove floor. When the single hole location moves to leading edge, the heat transfer coefficients increase firstly, then decrease, and the lower zone of film cooling effectiveness fades away.
